The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) is preparing the 12th edition of the IDF Diabetes Atlas (to be published in 2027) and invites contributions of relevant diabetes data sources. The Atlas is the authoritative source on the global burden of diabetes, widely used by health professionals, policymakers, researchers, and international agencies.
We welcome high-quality data sources on diabetes prevalence, including those that report by age groups, sex, and setting (urban/rural). Studies on undiagnosed diabetes, pre-diabetes, gestational diabetes, or diabetes mortality are also of interest. Unpublished data may be considered if sufficient methodology details are provided.
