Formosan Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism (FJEM), the official journal of the Diabetes Association of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the Endocrine Society of the Republic of China (Taiwan), has been published semi-annually since 2009. FJEM welcomes international, Asian and Taiwanese local researches including, but not limited to:
- Diabetes mellitus
- Lipid metabolism
- Obesity
- Thyroid, adrenal and pituitary disorders
- Osteoporosis and mineral metabolism
- Parathyroid disorders
- Reproductive endocrinology
- Neuroendocrine disorders
FJEM publishes original research articles, reviews, case reports, commentaries, editorials, case vignettes, letter to the editor, and other special features to enhance the health care of patients with metabolism and endocrine diseases. As a journal focused on the field of diabetes and endocrinology in Taiwan, we are especially interested in clinical and experimental researches that reveal local epidemiology, improve clinical practice in Taiwan, address local health issues and report clinical trials in Taiwan if local evidence is few or lacking.
