Travel Grant
Prior to the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) Congress 2019 in Busan, Korea, from December 2nd through 6th, 2019, AASD is pleased to make an announcement about its travel grant to offer 50,000 JPY per person to about 10 awardees. Please see the following statement for the details:
- Must be a member of AASD. Any membership categories are eligible including Associate. (If somebody has not joined AASD as a member yet, he/she can join from now on. http://www.aa-sd.org/member/index.html For Japanese graduates, undergraduate students, clinical residents, postdoctoral research fellows or clinical fellows, and healthcare professionals other than physicianｓ who will newly join AASD, please directly contact with AASD Secretariat by e-mail (office@aa-sd.org ) . )
- Must be aged 45 or below at the time of the meeting.
- Abstract must be accepted for either posters or oral presentations at the IDF Congress 2019 in Busan and presented by the grant recipient. (The late-breaking abstract submission period will run from 1 to 31 July 2019.) https://www.idf2019busan.org/
2. Application: Submit the following document along with the accepted presentation abstract through email to AASD Secretariat (office@aa-sd.org ):
-Curriculum vitae (CV) (maximum two pages) including previous awards, education, publications, research activities and further information deemed relevant.
3. Due date: Saturday, August 31st, 2019
4. Notification: Awardees will be notified by the middle of October 2019 after screening by the committee.
